Hi there, How you doing??
Winter is right around the corner and I believe you would have taken out your sweaters and gulped on those pumpkin spiced lattes and Chai tea lattes. (Chai = Tea, why call it chai tea??)
Unless you are living in hot city like Mumbai where there is not even a slightest sign of cold and even 20 degrees is celebrated as winters.
Speaking of celebrations, I recently attended this cute little fest in my town, Lil Flea. It was a 3 day carnival sort of event with fun games, live music, open air movies, variety of food stalls and pop up shops selling all cute and quirky stuff, from apparels, shoes, bags, home décor and stationary.
This place was so lively and so full of colours, I loved it. I had attended a funfair after such a long time. I remember when I was a kid, our family used to go to these fairs held near beaches in my city. I enjoyed the street food and the horse rides and the giant wheel and the shaved ice.
Sadly, they stopped keeping such fairs later (legal permit issues I guess) and also I grew up and stopped attending these.
However Lil Flea was little more elite and more organized than these fairs. They had these cool VR games, book exchange booths, painting workshops, live music and silent movie night under the stars.
I always wanted to watch a movie in open theatre, under the stars. And I did. Ticking off these little wishes from my bucket list feels so good
I am glad I went there. It was a day full of fun & frolic. Here are some of the pictures of the place… Tell me how you like it.
I like to visit such a lively fair with my friends. It is one of the most enjoyable ways to spend a whole day.
